Reading some of you folks is really funny. You will say anything to justify your own personal support of stealing from others. It amazes me that you can come here and so castigate (sorry – long word. It means “to criticize severely.” Oops, sorry, another big one. Severely means, “a whole lot,”) some hard-working beautiful woman who provided the very content that you are sitting in your dark room masturbating to. Why can’t you see the whole picture? Your logic follows into every corner of the business world. By your logic, only one person need to buy any song, any Hollywood movie, any DVD or musical output. They then put the file on RapidShare, and everyone gets a free copy. The people who made the movie, hell, they got plenty of money. Lookit all them Hollywood stars galavanting around in their big-ass SUVs and them big-ass Hollywood homes. They don’t need any more money. They obviously have plenty, so they should just do the movies for free. Now, there’s a idea. All you Hollywood types, from here on, you just use your own money to make me a movie and put it on RapidShare. Once it’s ready, I’ll go get it. For free. Oh, and thanks.

And, for you folks who seem to think stealing content is cool, what do you do for a living? Make something? OK how about if you make me a few, send ‘em along and I’ll give ‘em to my friends. That way, my friends won’t have to shell out their hard earned money, and without all that dirty money coming in, you wont need to deal with all them messy old banks. Oh, well done, Fireside.

It’s so easy to talk all that smack about how immoral women like Vicky is for having a penis in her mouth…but then, why the hell are you here in the first place?? Or, do you only get this unctious between fapping off to her?

This isn’t as much about people uploading porn for free, as it is about illegal piracy, which affects independent players like Vicky directly. It’s one thing to pay a monthly membership to access and download porn; it’s another thing altogether to have people upload paid material on sites like RapidShare and have them share it with others for free without the originators getting any compensation for their efforts. (And never mind those who deliberately steal material and reproduce it as if it is their own, using RS’s servers to spread the wealth, so to speak.)

Given this, Vicky has every damn right to protect her personal property and her hard-earned profits…and although I do see the real risks and uphill battle that she faces in this war against illegal filesharing, I totally support her efforts. Until the happy day comes when porn performers get residuals and royalties off of their hard work, they should have at least the right not to have their work taken from them without fair compensation.

BTW…side note, Vicky: time to update the banner to include Bobbi Eden, your latest VNA find. Just sayin’.

Thank you for blogging about this. I’ve contacted Rapidshare over and over and over. You are right — each removed file re-appears in TWO DAYS! So any of us can spend 1-2 hours a day filling out the DMCA forms, but still get nowhere with it. Many of my peers have closed their sites, models have quit the business (sooner than they should have, as your one commenter predicted), and some really amazing models are still trying to keep going but they can’t pay their rent. Any “fan” who sneaks everything for free and thereby is one of the people causing their favorite models/producers going out of business, is not a real fan.

Vicky, you make a great point about the US govt.’s efforts to punish porn piracy not be equal to their efforts to curb mainstream piracy.
The one thing I don’t quite believe is your claim that hot girls are staying out of porn due to decreasing porn revenues. I see new hot girls on the agency websites every week. the people who upload the videos and the people who download those videos, rapidshare and all the similar web pages are legal…
